Stop wire-tapping your alternators and bolt this on!
Installed into all P-Pumps, these replace the timing locking pin with a Cherry/ZF sensor that will pickup 1 pulse per pump revolution (0.5 pulses per engine revolution).
These sensors operate from 5 volt up to 24 volt for most applications.
Can be wired directly into a Dakota Digital SGI-100BT to convert the signal to any vehicle tacho signal.
Simply set the P-Pump to TDC, thread in the sensor until it touches the timing flag, wind it back half a turn and lock the locking nut to secure. We recommend barring the engine over by hand to verify clearances!
